My private pay rates are set at $125 per session if you don't plan on using insurance. 

I accept Cigna, BCBS and Aetna through Sunscape Counseling.

During your first session with Sam, she will ask you questions to get to know you better and understand what brings you to counseling. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the counseling process.

Late cancellation is defined within 24 hours of your session at the time your session is scheduled to begin. Any late cancellations or no-shows will result in full fee payment for the missed session. 

Hopeful Horizons Counseling understands that sometimes things are out of your control or emergency situations happen that will result in a missed appointment. Due to this, one free pass for a missed appointment will be given each calendar year when these unexpected circumstances occur. 

On January 1, 2022, congress enacted a "No Surprises Act", which is a "new federal protection against surprise medical bills that take effect in 2022. Surprise medical bills arise when insured consumers inadvertently receive care from out-of-network hospitals, doctors, or other providers they did not choose". Under the law, healthcare providers, including mental health providers, must give clients who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for services. 

Hopeful Horizons Counseling believes in honesty and transparency. There will never be any surprise fees as you will be clearly informed of the cost per session before our first appointment.
